  2. To me, this speaks about how His yes and His no (to our requests) both are supreme, complete and right. That we can trust Him. Both come from His innermost character of Love for us. The apostle John twice said that “God is love” (1 John 4:8,16). Jeremiah 29:11 and the book of Habakkuk are also helpful to me in understanding this about God, and His answers.

  3. So thankful He always does what is best for us because of His perfect love, whether it means yes or no to our petitions. And as a side note, I always have to look up the word “sublime.” 😀
